100th Anniversary Project Announced

To mark our centennial, Kimball Avenue church has announced a special renovation project that will honor our past and prepare for our future. The front of the church will be refurbished to provide a fitting entry to the building. The work will include...

New Front Doors

The existing wood doors will be replaced, giving the entrance to the building a new and distinct identity. To be completed by February, 2002

New Landscaping

The cement slabs in front of the building have been replaced with a garden of ornamental trees, bushes and perennial plants and flowers and a new brick walkway to the entrance of the building.

Historical Markers

Two granite marking stones engraved with the names of the original officers of the church and the pastors who have served the church have been set into the exterior brick walls of the church.

If you would like to make a contribution toward this project, please send it to the church, 2324 N. Kimball Ave. Chicago, IL 60647.

 Special Thanks
